We are a fully inclusive choir organisation for children and young people from the ages of 4 – 24+. There is no audition, but it is a wonderful opportunity to come and sing with us, on alternate Sundays in the School term time, in one of our four choirs.

In our 26th Anniversary year, it is most important to acknowledge our founders who have given their time voluntarily since the Choir’s inception.

Both June and Christopher are always happy to meet chorister parents at a convenient time to give further information on any of our activities.
- Children’s Younger Voices (ages 4-8)
- NYC (ages 8-12)
- Chorale (ages 12-19+)
- Consort (by invitation)
One of our Conductors – Giulia Laudano has been conducting two choirs for many years now and is studying to be an opera singer at the Royal Academy of Music in London. She has much experience herself as a solo singer and pianist. Guilia teaches both of our younger choirs, as well as some young children, privately at home. Her two excellent Choirs enjoy the fun of exciting warm ups and other activities interspersed with lovely songs. We love to see how they, the children, come excitedly to their rehearsals and have a really productive time. You are welcome to bring your son or daughter to a rehearsal and see how the children progress, during the first session.
Giulia’s two choirs are;
- Children’s Younger Voices from 1pm – 2pm
- NYC (Not yet Chorale) from 2:30pm – 4:30pm
This Choir reads music in two parts and learns to read from the scores provided, similar to Choristers in Cathedrals.
NYC members are given a chance to socialise in the break held halfway through the rehearsal, when we supply drinks and biscuits!
The Chorale, our third choir is conducted by the Principle of Children’s International Voices of Enfield. This is a superb group of Young musicians from the ages of 12-19+. Most of them have been in one of our previous choirs and are quite experienced.
- The Chorale – from 2:30pm – 4:45pm (The Chorale occasionally run to 5pm for something special…)
This is an amazing choir which has sung in all the prestigious London Concert Halls and have sung in both professional and amateur concerts.
- The Chorale and NYC both aim to sing abroad every alternate year. These are highlights of our Choir experiences, when we live with other superb choirs in many countries from Scandinavia and Europe. They also have a weekend away at the Pro Corda Music Centre in Leiston Abbey, near Aldeburgh, Suffolk, in the intervening years.

The splendid 14th Century restored Barn, Leiston Abbey, with its thatched roof.
The Consort, this is a really super group of our most talented senior musicians who always rise to the challenge of stimulating repertoire. Usually they sing A Capella and often without a conductor, but are rehearsed by one of our senior Choral Scholars, Ewan Phillips, MusB.
Choir Tours have always been a very special part of our Choir experiences, where we live with families and learn about their lives and culture in each particular country. We also make good friends. We have already toured to The Czech Republic, Sweden, Wales, Finland, Switzerland, Iceland, Bavaria, Italy, Munich and Estonia.
Our Choir full and happy after eating at the famous Medieval restaurant in Tallin, Estonia!
We have given many BBC Radio and Television Broadcasts, sung in British Cathedrals and given recitals in all the cities we have stayed in abroad.
We remember especially performances in the magnificent Domkirkjan in Reyjavik, Iceland, Frauen Kirche Cathedral, Munich, and the superb white marble Duomo di Milano, which took 600 years to complete. Our recital in Finland was in Helsingen Tuomio Kirkko with its 12 Zinc Apostles on the roof and finally we mention our dramatic St. PaulsCathedral, London.

We have encouraged some of our younger boys to become Choristers in British Cathedrals, including; St. Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Cathedral, Chelmsford Cathedral, The Chapel Royal and Southwell Minster. This means they were all boarding, with the exception of Harry Bradford at The Chapel Royal, who attended rehearsals after being at school in the City of London School for Boys. We are also very proud of our two Choral Scholars currently in Cambridge, Harry Bradford a Kings Choral Scholar and Jonathan Nicolaides a Choral Scholar at Clare College. We are all very proud of Harry Bradford who was selected to sing a solo in the world famous Carols from Kings in 2016.

All the Choirs wear our green, white or blue colours for our exciting concerts at the end of each term. We will discuss this with you individually, shortly after your child/children join us.
